Value-based Brand Design for Hidden Champs

MANOEUVREORANGE is an interdisciplinary design office by Dirk Ostmann. Together with associated partners from the disciplines of graphic design, fine arts, mathematics and architecture, the office specialises in corporate design, integrated brand communication and spatial design.

Clients include national and international medium-sized OEMs & IAMs, institutions, cities and municipalities.

Dirk Ostmann studied Visual Communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld. He then began his career at the Düsseldorf ›Institute for Communication, Prof. Schmitt-Siegel & Partner‹, before joining forces with the St. Petersburg mathematician, designer and typographer Dmitri Lavrow in 1997.

In 1999 Dirk Ostmann moved to Hamburg and worked as a team leader in the corporate identity unit of the Hamburg brand agency Lothar Böhm Associates. From 2001 to 2005 he taught conceptual design at the College of Communication Arts and Interactive Media (DFI) in Hamburg, while founding the design and communication agency Reinhard & Ostmann.

Since 2012, Dirk Ostmann has been running his design studio MANOEUVRE ORANGE in Reinbek on the outskirts of Hamburg. One of his core areas of expertise is the holistic development and staging of visual identities.

Dirk Ostmann is a member of the German Society for Semiotics (DGS/IASS).
